This is a tough one! I have a pleasant outlook and make friends easily. Never have been good at remembering names, but always faces. I see in people upon first meeting pretty much what they are. I am not working, love to travel.

Well, here go's. I'm recently divorced and starting to look at the world. What a learning curve! There's no future in the past. I'm looking for someone to start and share a new future with. Hi I'm basically a nice guy looking for a nice girl I'm handicapped do to a surgery gone bad. I can walk but not over 20 minutes. I'm loyal and honest, not much of a cuddler unless it's cold. I am passionate about animals and the outdoors. i also like movies, plays, some TV, reading, dancing, music and cooking. I have 2 dogs, 4 cats and 2 horses. I feed birds and other wildlife in my backyard, so I am a true animal lover. I am also very much interested in politics(I am a liberal) and the news. I enjoy going to dinner at a nice restaurant once in awhile.

Layed back retired, widowed mature male who refuses to stop living a life that he enjoys. I try to fly to visit children who all live in other cities once a year and they reciprocate. As an avid pilo, I try to fly at least one airplane a week somewhere. In temperate weather, my motorcycle is transportation on the ground. Airshows in Forida and Wisconsin are annual events, as well as Type Club annual Convention. If a partner enjoys it, dancing is one other recreation, as well as walks to see what is around.

I'm still working 20 hours + or - a week, I will never be a couch potato, I'm going all the time. We are a public works Contractor and have been in business 42 years, I have given the company to my 2 kids who run it well. I play golf, I have skied all over; Aspen, Europe, Mammoth. Most people think I'm in my middle 60's. and I think I'm am. I love to cruse and don't care were or just travel Europe and beyond. Life has been very good to me. Lost my wife last year to ALS, I'm the type of person who should never be with out a someone to love. The women i end up with will become my best friend, my lover, and will not care were we end up in life as long as were together, it's a must.

A positive outlook on life is important to me. I am an empathetic, considerate person and looking for the same traits in a woman. I am a retired federal executive -- I worked in the fields of communications, budget and congressioal affairs -- I retired 4 years ago but I have returned as a emeritus volunteer in my old agency at my old office. In addition I volunteer at a northern Va no-kill animal shelter -- I walk dogs and take them to adoption events -- it is very rewarding to get these pups adopted.
