I have been divorced for 4 years after 26 years of marriage. My 22 year old daughter has been encouraging me to get back into dating. I have to admit that she wrote my first profile! I decided that it did not sound like me though, and so am editing it. I retired from a very demanding job 9 months ago, and am loving the freedom. So many possibilities! I always need to do something creative. I've worked on my house and garden until they're pretty much the way that I want them, and lately have been into making jewelry. I'm into walking my puppy and going to the dog-park. When she gets a little more independent, I would love to get back into working out and biking. I'm thinking of down-sizing and maybe spending the winters South and/or traveling. I'm an introvert, so need some alone time to recharge, and do better one on one than in groups. I like to think that I have a good sense of humor, am loving and trustworthy.

Okay, I'm mostly a Missourian, lived in Missouri most of my life. Enjoy living in St. Louis as there are so many different cultural events going on. Love the weather changes, but this past summer was something else! I divorced, have no children, except for the four legged kind; I have three standard poodles that keep me active in my "retirement" lifestyle. I'm a liberal, progressive thinker and enjoy intellectual conversations. And if they occurred near the ocean, near the peaks of a mountain or near a coral reef or high desert, that would be a bit of heaven

The first thing you may notice about me is I am rarely without at least a smile. I am a confident, smart woman. I care about this world we live in and strive to make a difference in little ways. I can carry on a conversation on just about any topic. I love the outdoors, hiking, walking, snowshoeing and from there love plays, movies, some TV, concerts (especially outdoor summer concerts), train trips (to Portland) beaches, downtown Seattle and people watching. I like to workout and treasure a massage afterwards. I am a cuddler, like to hold hands and be close with the right person. I will be a devoted partner. I value honesty and openess. No secrets! I have great women friends. I can get lost in my gardening and find tending my flowers to be relaxing. I want a life long partner, friend, companion. I like swimming, aerobics and horse riding. Horses are so graceful and they like me : ) I am very good at cooking.
