I am an experienced quiet gentleman, who is returning to the ala' carte life. Lost that special someone in my life to cancer some time ago. Only in the last year, have I started getting interested in finding someone new to share the rest of my life with. I am involved in my community, the local school board of which I'm an officer. I have few vices left, mostly fishing and woodworking during the winter. I do enjoy the outdoors during warm weather. I used to enjoy cold weather, but as the bones have gotten older the enjoyment is mostly gone.
Nancy always said, my greatest abilities, were the ability love her totally and completely; my faith; and being the best kisser, hand holder, hugger and ear nibbler she ever met(etc.). Finding romance when you are the only Tim Long in Anderson can be a problem. Everybody "knows" you, they voted for you or you didn't vote the right way at the last school board meeting. Also dating teachers from the school system, many of which I know, is a problem as you might imagine. It would be nice to have a friendly woman's voice call up and say hi my name is--- would you like to talk. Who knows maybe I'll get Lucky one of these days.

I had a meaningful relationship for many years before becoming a widower. I became very used to sharing with another. Have many things to share, but by oneself it is not any fun, want a true friend, mate, and partner to share life experiences with, and to share yours with me. I am multi-faceted with many interests and am described as being quite "unique". Have owned my business for many years and am now semi retired, but like to keep active and busy.

I grew up on a farm in Indiana but lived out west for 35 yr. after high school. Moved back to Indiana 2+ yr. ago to be near family. I love all outdoor activities but haven't played golf since college, if that's your passion it's negotiable. Same with motorcycles, not since college, but I don't believe in them anymore, I've seen or taken care of too many head injuries/deaths in my career. I love and respect all animals, esp. dogs and horses, that said, I'm a meateater, I love to grill yearround. As far as food goes, I'm still close to college, if I don't have to buy, prepare, or cook it, it's all good! I've tried to simplify my life the last few years and I like it. I used to attend church regularly until my divorce years ago and have only attended sporadically since. I would like to go more in the future. I'm definitely health conscious, if you have substance problems I'm not interested, too many years professionally and with acquaintences. I love a couple of beers at times and wine is ok. I like meeting new people and respect all , especially the old ones, I can now relate to what they've been through. I believe in friends first, I don't want to spend time with someone I don't like.
